06 Consent for care

Emergency medical treatment. In an emergency I authorize TNT Camp staff to secure medical treatment for my child, including transport by ambulance and treatment by a physician or hospital, when I cannot be reached first. I accept financial responsibility for that care. I understand staff will try to reach me and my emergency contacts immediately.

Everyday care. I authorize TNT staff to apply sunscreen and insect repellent I provide, and to give basic first aid for minor scrapes, splinters, and stings.

Medication. If my child needs medication during camp I will provide it in its original labeled container with written instructions. I understand staff are not medical professionals and will not administer anything not documented here.

07 Heat

TNT runs outdoors in Central Texas summer heat. We provide shade and water breaks throughout the morning and move to covered areas when conditions require it. Please send your child with a labeled water bottle, sunscreen applied before arrival, and a hat.

08 Activities and their risks

I understand TNT Camp includes arts and crafts using paints, glue, and craft materials; outdoor games including ball sports; use of a trampoline; water play; and occasional walks within the neighborhood. I understand these carry inherent risks of injury — including falls, collisions, cuts, sprains, allergic reaction, and heat illness — that cannot be eliminated no matter how carefully camp is run.

Trampoline. Camp is held at a property with a netted trampoline. Campers use it under counselor supervision. I understand trampoline use carries a heightened risk of sprains, fractures, and collision injury.

09 Release

In consideration of my child being permitted to participate in TNT Camp, I, on my own behalf, release and agree not to sue TNT Camp, its directors, counselors, volunteers, and the owners of the property at which camp is held, from any claim for injury, illness, or property damage arising from my child's participation, including claims arising from their own ordinary negligence. This release does not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

I understand that under Texas law I am releasing only my own claims, and that this release does not waive any claim belonging to my child.

10 Photos

TNT Camp may photograph campers during activities and use those images on our website and in camp materials. Images are never captioned with a child's full name and are never sold or licensed.

I grant permission to photograph my child and use those images as described. I do not grant permission. TNT will make reasonable efforts to keep my child out of photographs.

11 Behavior

TNT is a small camp and depends on kids being kind to each other. We ask campers to follow counselor instructions, treat other campers and property with respect, and stay within camp boundaries. Behavior that endangers or repeatedly disrupts others may result in a call home or, rarely, dismissal from the session without refund.

12 Payment and cancellation

Cost. $55 per day. All supplies included.

Payment. Venmo @Pacetemple_ — include your child's name and session choice in the note. Payment reserves the spot, and spots are held in the order received.

Cancellation. Cancel seven or more days before a session starts for a full refund. Within seven days, half the fee is refunded. Once a session begins fees are not refundable, though we'll always try to move your child to a later session if one has room.

Weather. Camp runs rain or shine — we move to covered and indoor activities when it's wet. We close for severe weather, including any flash flood or tornado warning, and notify parents by text as early as we can. Any day TNT cancels is refunded or credited, your choice.

Late pickup. There's no late fee. Please text if you're running behind. If we haven't heard from you fifteen minutes after pickup we'll start calling your emergency contacts.

Scholarships are available every session, no explanation needed. Just ask.
